Come join us for the first of our public banding demos of the 2025 Painted Bunting Season. We will be banding from 7-11am, but please feel free to stop by whenever you'd like during those hours. Buntings are freshly arrived to the area and setting up their nesting territory, so we are hoping to band buntings who are getting ready to nest at Carolina Beach State Park or the surrounding area. As always, Painted Buntings are wild animals and we cannot guarantee their appearance at this demonstration. However, we have high hopes that we will be able to band some at this demo.
